Yesterday, I was supposed to go for remedial with my classmate camellia, but I overslept so I did not go. Sorry Mrs Khoo! I will turn up for tomorrow's remedial! Anyway, Camellia is not supposed to go for remedial but she went cause we were going to bake cookies at my house after remedial. So, Camellia met me at my house straight after remedial.
While we were in the house, I was on the computer searching for "Betty Crocker" recipes while Camil was sitting on my be thinking of how fun it would be and how GOOD the cookies will taste eventually. We wrote all the ingredients down from the com and went to King Albert Park to have lunch before going to Cold Storage to buy our stuff for the cookies. We had some problems buying things for the cookies but we managed to get most of the things we wanted. When we got back, we layed out all the things we needed and started mixing the ingredients to make our cookie dough. While mixing it, we realised the paper did not state "add water...", so we decided to add some cause the dough never seemed to turn out like dough cause it still looked powdery after 10 mins of mixing. hahah.. it was really funny cause we kept adding till we got a nice soft and smooth dough.
After doing so, we dropped the cookie dough onto the baking tray and left it in the kitchen oven. The first batch of cookies were alright, just alittle burnt. hahaha. Then, we happily put in the second batch for baking, and we left the kitchen. Little did we realise, the kitchen was filled with smoke and some weird funky smell was coming out from the oven. hahahaha!! So I went into the kitchen and I quickly switched off the oven. AHHH! I opened all the windows and started spraying melon burst air fresherner all over the kitchen. The cookies were burnt..boo hoo. I was really sad cause the cookies really smelled BAD! Anyway, I got the kitchen cleaned up and Camil was helping me to throw the cookies. haha..
We gave up on baking cookies and decided to try the muffins instead. THEY TURNED OUT GREAT!! YAY! They were banana honey flavoured. WOO HOO! THEY ROCK! I'm proud to say on behalf of Camellia that it was indeed a mission well done. hahahhah!! -_-" ok, thats it for today, I'm gonna eat my muffins now. *NEVER GIVE UP.
